“Eden Restored” depicts a gathering in the Earth made new. Jesus is explaining the scars in His hands in response to the child’s inquiry. The explanation brings tears of appreciation to the child’s eyes. Reassuringly, Jesus wipes away the tears.
The presence of the lamb and the lion depict the peace and harmony reverberating throughout the restored creation.
